Royal Jet will construct a new aircraft maintenance hangar at their facilities beside Terminal 2 – Airside at the Abu Dhabi International Airport, Abu Dhabi.

The hangar shall be capable of hous­ing/accommodating a typical Code C (BBT) aircraft (Tail in). The hangar steel structure covered by sandwich-panels. Aircraft hangar is a total area of 2,700 m² with inclusion of required ancillary equipment and services such as hangar door, cooling chillers, water tanks..etc.

The hangar is equipped with energy efficient systems in regards to the fol­lowing:

• Horizontal sliding doors
• Firefighting system and fire alarm system
• Air Conditioned to minimum 24 degrees Celsius up to 8 meters height
• Led Lighting
• Natural Lighting
