SAUDI JORDAN BORDER Halat Amar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

RW Armstrong created a master plan and developed the concept design for Saudi-Jordan Border project for the Ministry of Finance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The passenger custom port in Halat Amar is located on the border of Saudi Arabia with Jordan with a total development area of 433,970 sq.m. and about 110 km from Tabuk city. This border crosses receives the largest number of pilgrims due to its strategic location in connection with many Arab countries and Turkey.

The scope of work for this prestigious project includes preparation of studies and concept design for the Halat Amar port for passengers, including sunshade for passenger’s arrival and departure, 24 registry custom and passport cabins for arrivals and departures, new office buildings to accommodate required entities and authorities, such as passports, customs, Islamic affairs, committee for the propagation of virtue and prevention of vice, food and drug administration, media, health, farm and animal quarantine.
