AL WAHA COMPLEX North Africa

RW Armstrong was appointed to provide project management, design management and site supervision services for Al Waha complex in North Africa, an exclusive and unique mixed-use development in North Africa  Located on one of the main routes, the project is envisioned to be a welcome statement and an icon for the visitors of the city. It denotes the new future of prosperity, while at the same time respecting the local heritage. Al Waha pays architectural homage to the rich, cultural heritage and landscapes of North Africa. The ancient oasis town of Ghadamis is thoughtfully replicated in the podium of Al Waha’s iconic towers.  Al Maabar’s portion of the 135,000 sq.m. Al Waha development includes two 28-storey towers comprising a commercial tower and a hospitality tower with a 203-room hotel and 102 serviced apartments. Al Maabar is also building a health club, shopping mall and supermarkets. With its unique form, environmental, cultural and contextual design, the twin towers are to be the highest in Tripoli offering astonishing views in all directions.
Lidco’s portion of the Al Waha development includes 11 residential towers and a three-storey shopping mall. The residential district is estimated at $400 million.
