In order for us to achieve the Magic Planet 2.0 theme in this unit, we assessed the spaces throughout for their assets and constraints, with the design materializing as a progressive discovery of changing spaces for the user.The main approach was to create a transition between the relatively small shopfront, moving from the single height section to the double height section.

The contrast that exists between those 3 elements, was used to enhance the sense of adventure and excitement, as the visitors will find themselves experiencing a progressively changing scale of space in all dimensions as well as in the nature of the rides. The whole unit is divided in 4 major scenes.The gateway and the space travel which is manifested in the entrance and the POS /Redemption counter where all the games could be themed under that idea.
The ceiling is featured with a simulation of the starry sky, with the lines and the geometry rather dynamic and fluid, this will give the sense of space travel, that is taking place right after the ticketing section.

Once the visitor moves into the double height space, the scale, environment and theme will be drastically changed, featuring the various landscapes of the Magic Planet theme. The Crystal Mine Zone at the bumper car and soft play area, is more like the deepest zone within whole space so it will make the perfect location to create the (Mining activity) with the bustle of the bumper cars and the rich activities in the soft play. The soft play could look like a scaffold within the mining activity.

The Canyons Zone at the Drop and Twist and the Happy Swing, with the experience of the free fall vertical dimension, where the ceiling is featured with a cloud system to create the dramatic effect and the backdrop wall will feature an actual rock formation in addition to the graphic of the same nature.

The Scifi/ Tron Zone at the Trampoline and the Party Room, will look like the launch pad in Magic Planet to other worlds, that is mainly manifested by the column cladding rocket-like shapes and the main feature sheltering the trampoline and extending to the party room wall; the look and feel is changed back into a spacey or intergalactic ambience. This progression will take the visitors through a colorful and extremely exciting journey to and from Magic Planet, playing progressively with the themed rides and games according to the different zones and atmospheres.
